Arsenal continued their winning streak in the 2025–26 Premier League season with a 5-0 victory over Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium on August 24th (KST).
The Gunners opened the scoring from a set-piece when Timber headed in a corner delivered by Declan Rice in the 33rd minute. Shortly before halftime, Bukayo Saka added Arsenal’s second goal, marking his first goal of the season.
In the second half, Viktor Yokeres stole the spotlight with a sensational solo run from near the halfway line, finishing with a precise right-foot shot into the far corner. This was Yokeres’ first league goal on his Arsenal debut.
Despite Saka’s injury in the 8th minute of the second half, Arsenal didn’t slow down. Timber scored again to complete a brace, and Yokeres converted a late penalty to finish a multi-goal performance.
Arsenal’s manager rotated promising youngsters in the final minutes, giving debuts to Max Daumen, Christian Mosquera, and Miles Lueskel while maintaining dominant control throughout the match.
The final score: Arsenal 5 – 0 Leeds United, marking their second consecutive league win after a 1–0 victory over Manchester United in the opener.
